Japanese Sea Lion

The Japanese Sea Lion (Zalophus japonicus) was a western North Pacific sea lion historically recorded around Japan and neighbouring coasts. The last confirmed records date from the twentieth century (general species account; Japan Ministry of the Environment Red List 2020).
