Lesser Roundleaf Bat (Hipposideros turpis) is a roundleaf bat recorded in the Japan mammal catalogue. This concise entry identifies the accepted catalogue taxon without adding ecology that has not yet been verified from a species-level source (Mammal Diversity Database range record). Japan's national Red List records it as Threatened local population (Japan MOE Red List 2020).
